Welcome again to a new episode in English Language learning series. In today’s lesson we will be dealing with nouns and particularly the irregular plural nouns. As most nouns comply to the plural form rules with – usually- adding an “s” or “es” to the singular ones.

The Most Common Irregular Plural Nouns in English

Yet, some of the nouns do not go within this rule. Thus, they have irregular forms as we have seen with irregular verbs.
Some examples are:

  1. Mouse = Mice
  2. Man = Men
  3. Fish = Fish
  4. Goose = Geese
